For the Canberra Street kitchen, our objective was to achieve a clean, seamless aesthetic that prioritized high-level functionality. We worked closely with Marg to create a space that felt bespoke and uncluttered, balancing warmth with a modern edge. Through careful planning of the kitchen’s joinery, we introduced integrated storage and custom detailing to ensure the space serves the daily rhythms of the home while maintaining a sophisticated visual presence.

A full kitchen redesign featuring an island bench, window wall, and fridge wall cabinetry in Polytec Prime Oak.
We incorporated specific solutions for kitchen essentials, including a pullout pantry, bin unit, and custom utensil inserts. The design also featured a dedicated shelf for books/cookbooks and optimized cabinetry depth for better appliance integration. We implemented Hettich Cargo IQ storage systems and optimized base units to maximize long-term accessibility.

We designed specific storage solutions to suit Marg’s needs, including an appliance cupboard with internal lighting, a dedicated cookbook shelf integrated into the joinery, and formed ends for the island bench to anchor the room.
