Dan was great to work with and brought a real design sensibility to my project, which was a full kitchen and cupboards in the hallway and bathroom. I needed help with the myriad of options for door/cupboard/drawer handles and Dan was able to suggest what would work, including custom making the handles that we went with in the end - and which I've received many compliments on. It's the details that can really make a difference!
In the course of the handle journey he also made a mock set of handles so we could get a better feel for how they would or wouldn't work. In the case of that handle design, we agreed it wouldn't work. I greatly appreciated his care and attention to those kind of details and it's made all the difference to how happy I am with the final result - which is to say, ecstatic. There were also a few points where the original design had to adapt around the realities of the house - such as a laundry trough with drawers that needed to open in a way that could have clashed with cupboard hinges. Dan was always able to find a way around those kind of last-minute hitches in a way that reduced stress.
He also advised on LED lighting and liaised with my electrician who wasn't so up to date with the latest in this. In bringing my works to life, everything was done with really beautiful craftsmanship and it's a total pleasure living in the house.
