We want you to be as much a part of these designs as we are, so here's some information about customising, the materials and processes we use and care instructions.
Our top shapes, finishes and base colours allow more ways for you to customise your product:
- Our timber tops and tables come in a natural seal, oiled or black stain finish.
- Our standard steel bases are available in white, black, mint, polished copper or polished brass.
Our steel bases can be ordered with high density plastic feet, designed to prolong the metal finish and reduce wear on your floors. To keep these plastic feet securely in place, metal tabs are welded on the inside edge of the raw steel legs prior to any finishes being applied. The plastic tabs are available in black or white and are removable, however the metal tabs they are fixed to are permanently secured. This also means we are unable to retrofit protective feet once an item has left our workshop.
Sustainable and friendly
Our timber is carefully selected. It is responsibly sourced and we like to use reclaimed and salvaged wherever possible. Our hand-worked timber products are finished with a low VOC protective coating. Low VOC is better for your health, our health, and has a lower impact on the environment.
Just like you, timber is a natural product and possesses it’s own unique character. No two pieces are completely alike. Please allow for variations in timber grain and shade.
Small parts of our steel work are outsourced locally, and we fabricate the rest. All timber work is done in house.
- Timber: Clean with a damp, non abrasive cloth. Avoid any harsh cleaning products.
- Powdercoat: Clean with a damp, non abrasive cloth. Avoid scuffing by selecting to add protective feet tabs (see below).
- Copper & Brass: After plating & polishing, the metalwork is coated with protective clear sealant. To prolong the life of your furniture, we recommend cleaning with a damp, non abrasive cloth. Avoid any harsh cleaning products.
